Songkran, Thailand’s traditional New Year celebration in April, is the country’s biggest and most exciting festival. Originally about purification and fresh starts, it now also means epic water fights and non-stop fun! Khaosan Road

First up is Khaosan Road, which is pretty much Songkran central as the entire street transforms into a massive, non-stop water fight. The bars stay open, the DJs blast music from plastic-covered booths, and the street parties are legendary. Silom
